 April 22nd - 25th 2010Cup Der Privaten is the European Championship of Universities. The main goal is to unite students and businesses from all over Europe. The tournament wants you to experience networking, a sense of fair play and a good time, both on and off the pitch. CDP takes place in Berlin for the 7th time. The 48 participating teams will be more than a part of an indoor soccer tournament; they will experience an extraordinary entertainment program in Berlin's finest locations. General terms and conditions for the participation in the event "Cup Der Privaten" (01.12.2008)
I. Validity, terminology
1. The general terms and conditions for the "Cup Der Privaten" are valid for the event "Cup Der Privaten". The participant confirms to have read the general terms and conditions. The participant accepts these with his registration.
2. A registration can be completed as a fan or team. The definition for these terms can be found on the homepage www.cupderprivaten.de, therefore the description does not have to be repeated in the terms and conditions.
3. Registrations can only be accepted, if the registration form on the homepage www.cupderprivaten.de is filled out, faxed or sent via E-mail. The registration is binding and the registrations are handled according to the order of arrival. If the maximum capacity is arrived then the applying participant will be informed in written form.
4. Registrations and cancellations are only valid, if these are confirmed in written form by the host. In case of some terms and conditions being changed then the participants will be informed about this latest with the confirmation of registration, leaving them enough time to cancel the registration.
5. All prices are including taxes.
II. Event participation and cancellation
1. There is no right of participation. "Cup Der Privaten" can be cancelled in the case of too few registrations.
2. The participation takes place at everyone’s own risk.
3. The participation is only allowed after having paid the participation fee. The fee is to be paid within 14 days after the registration.
4. In case of the event not taking place then the participant will be informed at the latest 4 calendar weeks beforehand. The paid participation fee will be paid back within 6 weeks, without the claim for indemnification.
5. In case of the event having to be cancelled on short notice due to an act of nature beyond control or due to other sudden circumstances, then the participation fee cannot be reimbursed.
6. The host may vary the programme or change the event location, as long as it is acceptable by the participants.
7. A fee of 50% of the registration fee is imposed, if the participant cancels his registration at the latest 4 weeks before the event via email or in written form. The "Cup Der Privaten" can decide, if the full fee is reimbursed in certain cases.
8. If a participant does not show up to the event, or in case of a delayed arrival of the cancellation the full fee is due.
9. In case of a participant breaking off his participation of the event early then the participation fee is not reimbursed.
10. The "Cup Der Privaten" grants an early bird rebate for teams that apply until a set date. The payment for the cheaper participation fee must be paid within 14 days. The event host may demand the full registration fee, if the fee is not paid within the deadline.
III. Liability, surveillance
1. A liability cannot be given for people or property damage during the event, during the travel to and from the event, as well as not for valuables; unless the damage was made deliberately or wantonly negligent by the organisation committee.
2. In the case of theft, contravening regulations, violating the event rules including the rules of Fair Play, the event host can disqualify a participant from the event. The participant’s fee will not be reimbursed.
IV. Data privacy
1. The participant will be informed during the registration where his data will be officially published; therefore he has the right to refuse this.
2. If the participant does not wish his data to be published, then the event host insure that the participant’s data will only be used for internal purposes and will not be given to third parties.
V. Legal validity
If any of the regulations of the terms and conditions are fully or partially invalid, the validity of the rest of the terms and conditions is not affected.
